PUSH-UPS ON THE MINUTE

Perform a set of push-ups at the top of every minute for twenty minutes.

Intermediate and Basic trainees should substitute Knee Push-ups as necessary.

  1. Can someone explain this to me? A set of max press ups takes over a minute.

  2. Do not max out. Choose a number of reps you can perform every sixty seconds for 20 minutes. How many you do will depend on your individual conditioning and goals.

    10 reps x 20 minutes = 200 PU
    15 reps x 20 minutes = 300 PU
    20 reps x 20 minutes = 400 PU
    25 reps x 20 minutes = 500 PU
    30 reps x 20 minutes = 600 PU
    Etc.
