Monday 16 October 2006: TIMED CALS CIRCUIT

TIMED CALISTHENIC CIRCUITS

Perform four rounds of the following circuit.


  • Round One perform each exercise for 60 seconds
  • Round Two perform each exercise for 45 seconds
  • Round Three perform each exercise for 30 seconds
  • Round Four perform each exercise for 15 seconds
  • Rest 1 minute between each set of exercises in all four rounds
Advanced:
  • Pull-ups
  • Sit-ups
  • Push-ups
Intermediate:
  • Assisted, Partial, or Jumping Pull-ups
  • Sit-ups or Crunches
  • Push-ups (go to your knees if necessary)
Basic:
  • Body Rows
  • Crunches
  • Knee Push-ups

Pullups with Elastic Assistance Band...6,4,3,2=15
Situps...21,15,7,7=50
Pushups...27,13,8,6=54

I coulda/shoulda done more pullups. Once I "maxed out" I stopped even though I had plenty of time left in each set that I could have rested and continued.

My first training session since last Tuesday. I don´t think I´m quite fit enough to train - the heavy cold symptoms are still lingering .... but what the heck!!!
I took it easy with push-ups on the minute:
20x5 reps

Pull-ups with 80lbs Assistance brings me to 205lbs

Pull-ups 12,8,6,4 =30
Sit-ups 28,21,14,9 = 72
reg. Push-ups 49,25,18,13 = 105

Keep it up Mark. I know how a cold can bring you down!
